Phil Cross was born in Ringgold, GA and raised in Chattanooga, TN. Everything was great in his life until the first grade! Phil was not prepared to be labeled the “ugly kid” in school but that’s what happened. Each year worsened as Phil became more and more beaten-down by the cruelty of his classmates. But God had a big plan for this young boy and Phil plugged into God’s plan when he gave his life to Jesus Christ at the age of eleven. Since then, God has used the trials of his youth to bring a distinct depth and richness to his work. Phil credits the struggles of his youth for giving him the passion to become a minister of the Gospel through songwriting, singing, and testimony. 

God has miraculously lifted him, equipped him, and brought him to a place of prominence in music ministry. Certainly, Phil Cross is no stranger to Christian Music. Rebekah Cross is the wife of Phil Cross. She is the daughter of a minister. Her father is the late Dr. Ted Hicks. She has spent her entire life in church ministry and is certainly a blessing to Crossing. She has an amazing stage presence always presenting God-honoring music with the utmost class.

Paula Stefanovich is a gifted singer/songwriter. At the age of fifteen, her first song was published. Since then, Paula has distinguished herself as a prolific songwriter composing songs for various artists as well as many print publishers. She is the recipient of the 2005 ‘Song of the Year’ Diamond Award. Her most popular song, ‘Jerusalem’ topped the chart at #1 in 2004.

Continuing to celebrate her journey, this true artist and songstress continues to write and sing. She has been honored to sing for such notables as Max Lucado and John Bevere. Her heart remains strongly passionate and committed to solo and choral music worship.

Paula makes her home in Lexington, KY. Her daughter Johnna is a senior at Transylvania University and her son Jordan, attends the University of Louisville.
